From Fat to Fit in Four Months

Thank Goodness for Chiropractors

Firstly, three cheers for my friend Hernan who made the new banner I'm using as the title of the blog. He's incredible.

Moving on, I've been having back pains while sleep at night for the past few months, and with some convincing from my fiancee, I went to have it checked out.

The chiropractor said mine is an unusual case, and I don't feel I need to disclose all my personal medical history on this blog. However, among other things, I don't have enough curve in my spine, which leads to headaches, and back pain while lying flat. It's a nice thing to know, and now I have to ice my back twice or three times a day until my next visit next Monday.

But I did make a wonderful investment today. I bought my own kettlebell. It's a 26 pound-er so I can do at least most of a workout here at my home rather than having to drive all the way to work on days I don't absolutely have to be there. This will cut back on gas for my vehicle, and also on my insanity from having to go to the lab every single day to work out. 45 bucks is definitely worth that much.

The blog post that appeared just before this one should actually have been posted yesterday. For reasons I don't understand, it only saved it as a draft, and I had to post it today.
